Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Five pieces of information are all we need: your gender, birth date, health status, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term. That is sufficient to get carrier rates. We do not ask for your name, address, or detailed health history unless you apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These reflect what carriers quote for your chosen health tier. Once you apply, the carrier underwriting process will confirm your actual class, which might move up, down, or stay the same. Nothing here is an insurance offer or rate lock.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, the application builds from the exact quote you selected, and it transfers to the carriers' platform. You have freedom to save progress and return later, and you sign using an electronic signature. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), oversees the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
Several factors affect this: the carrier you select, the amount of coverage, and how you answer health questions. Some carriers now make immediate decisions for qualified applicants; each quote displays whether an exam is mandatory, optional, or waived.
Is a longer term better?
Pick a term that covers the years when your death would hurt most financially: outstanding debts, dependent children, business obligations. Each additional year of protection adds to the monthly cost but keeps your rate guaranteed longer. The quote tool shows all five standard options—10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years—side by side for easy comparison.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote form never asks for contact information, we never sell or hand over visitor information to others, and our tracking has no cookies. Visit the privacy page to see the full inventory of what we gather and who has access.
